Amazing
how the ones you love the most
can turn their back on you the worst.
Dumbfounding
that alcoholism and pregnancy out of wedlock
can all be forgiven
but not being true to one’s self.
Bewildering
the things you’d never thought would happen
can come on you in an instant.
Incredible
how many friends you thought would turn their back
are there with open arms, accepting and loving.
Perplexing
the thought that this might be permanent
that they may never come around.
Unbelievable.
